About the role

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Splunk Platform Product Management team. This candidate has several years of Splunk Enterprise experience engaging with Fortune 100 customers and assisting them on their journey to the Cloud. You are organized, positive, and passionate about working in a rapidly changing environment. Are you up for the challenge?

As a Senior Product Manager you will investigate and understand customer business goals, architecture, scale and service level objectives needed for Splunk use cases and organizational challenges that these customers need to overcome on their journey to the Cloud. You will own a multi-year roadmap on how Splunk partners with these ultra large customers on their journey to the Cloud, whether it's hybrid or full SaaS. You will work directly with key decision makers of the business to improve scalability and resiliency to support Fortune 100 customer business goals. The ability to clearly articulate and prioritize customer requirements to internal Splunk product teams, and directly partner with go to market teams (sales, professional services), will be essential to success in this role.

Requirements

  • You have 5-8 years of experience in an operational role, and 2-3 years of product management experience.

  • You have a deep understanding of operational aspects of delivering large scale Splunk environments, whether on-premise or in public clouds

  • You have shown the ability to lead without authority plus to comfortably articulate your requirements via verbal and written communication skills

  • You enjoy engaging with customers on business and operational topics.

  • Growth mentality conducive with a dynamic, innovative, and congenial work culture

  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA or similar degree highly preferred

Note:

Base Pay Range

SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area

Base Pay Range: $159,200.00 - 218,900.00 per year

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts

Base Pay Range: $143,280.00 - 197,010.00 per year

All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.

Base Pay Range: $127,360.00 - 175,120.00 per year

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
