Job Summary
Splunk delivers world-class event experiences. As the Event Designer, you’ll be responsible for creating presentations, signage, and content for our Flagship Events including .conf, .conf Go, GovSummit, and Global Partnership Summit. Reporting to the Director, Brand Design, you will work closely with our brand and creative team, our messaging and content team, and our key executive stakeholders to build experiential content including keynotes, breakout sessions, wayfinding, and booth designs with compelling visuals and beautiful design. Our ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of event design principles including structural design, motion graphics, wayfinding, and presentation design. Responsibilities
Using our brand system and brand design to build compelling and unique brand experiences at our Flagship Events
Create Event Design Guidelines and Templates for our Field Marketing teams
Partner with key executives to translate event/keynote storyline into compelling and thoughtfully designed content
Work with our event agencies to understand attendee experience and create engaging booth experiences and clear wayfinding.
Create presentation templates for breakout sessions and regional events such as .con fGo.
Build event kits for third-party events including booth signage and banners.
Flex to help other design teams with a variety of design work and campaigns.
Requirements
The ideal candidate has:
Bachelor’s degree in art or design or associated field
Minimum 5-7 years of graphic design, animation, and event production experience working on a large SaaS/Tech brand either in-house or agency
Thrives in a fast-pace work environment and can handle multiple projects simultaneously
A love of graphic design. Someone who is excited to explore art and find ways to bring our brand to life in a variety of experiences.
An advanced knowledge of Microsoft Power Point and Google Slides
A skilled knowledge of the latest design products including Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma.
Excellent communication skills and exceptional attention to detail.
The ability to work as a member of a team and has the focus to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
A portfolio of work examples that show your design talent.

Base Pay Range
Costa Rica
Base Pay: CRC 19,200,000.00 - 26,400,000.00 per year
Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
