Role Summary

Our Applications Transformation Lead excels at the translation of strategy into execution. They are strategic thinkers with excellent business insights, curious about problems and understanding how everything works, and advocates for operational excellence in SaaS business models. Lead work projects with teams across the enterprise to define end-to-end value streams, align on organizational efficiency strategies, develop differentiating capabilities, reinvent organizational and operating models, and take full advantage of digitization. They apply deep process expertise and apply a range of process improvement methodologies.

What you'll get to do

  • Understand the company’s operating model and commercial objectives and how they translate into the need for efficient, standardized, business processes, organizational structures, and operations.

  • Focus on Go-to-Market aspects to support customer value transformation, i.e. crafting products and processes that help our account teams identify, measure and share value that a customer has received from Splunk products and services.

  • Analyze existing processes, applying different techniques and methods, including documentation of the existing flows. Codify the customer experience and recommend process improvements to address corporate priorities and objectives.

  • Lead and/or support the design of GTM future-state processes by working with functional experts from the business and technical teams to deliver outstanding solutions.

  • Proactively work with the technical delivery teams to define and implement GTM system solutions - complete in an agile delivery model by developing epics, user stories, test scripts, acceptance criteria, and training materials

  • Ensure baseline metrics and KPIs are understood, and assist future state measurement/ management systems for GTM operational health and success metrics.

  • Produce executive presentations and present simple solutions to sophisticated business problems to diverse partners across the company.

Must-have Qualifications

  • BS/BA required, MBA preferred

  • 10 years of experience focusing on sales or post-sales experience strategy, planning, execution and/or continuous process improvement.

  • Demonstrated work experience and expertise across end-to-end business cycles, with operational experience in Go-to-Market (e.g customer success - post-sales, service & renewals, Sales Operations) with high-growth, highly-scaled SaaS companies.

  • Demonstrative work experience in Program Management, Product Management and Process Engineering are preferred

  • Outstanding cross-functional leadership, influencing and interpersonal skills; ability to lead and encourage others without direct authority

  • Analytical and communication skills with a strong sense of problem solving to drill down to root cause corrective actions in the face of sophisticated systems, structures and processes

  • An ability to effectively communicate sophisticated information to a variety of audiences (front line and up to the C-Suite) written and verbal communication

Base Pay Range

SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area

Base Pay Range: $181,200.00 - 249,150.00 per year

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts

Base Pay Range: $163,080.00 - 224,235.00 per year

All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.

Base Pay Range: $144,960.00 - 199,320.00 per year

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
