Splunk Software Engineer in Krakow, Poland

Splunk is looking for an enthusiastic and innovative software engineer to take an active role in building and crafting the quality of our Splunk Observability application, empowering our customers to quickly detect and resolve their infrastructure and application issues.

You will work closely with a multi-functional team of engineers working on multi-cloud integrations with the Splunk Observability suite, product managers, and architects in a fast-paced environment. You will work on the cloud integration solution that connects to a wide range of data sources & ecosystems.

Responsibilities

  • Build integration solutions that are highly reliable, resilient, and extendable

  • Participate in technical discussions with the broader team

  • Collaborate with product owner, technical writes and engineers to maintain high standards in overall product quality

    Requirements

  • You have a foundation in computer science, with competencies in operating systems, networks, data structures, integration patterns, distributed systems, and software design

  • You have excellent problem solving, collaboration, and communication skills, both verbal and written

  • You have solid knowledge in at least one of Java/Go

  • You are passionate about building, observing and operating distributed systems at scale in production.

  • You are familiar with test driven development, different levels of automated tests, such as unit test, integration test, system test, or performance/load test

  • Experience with modern CI/CD pipelines is a plus

  • Experience with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation is a plus

  • Comfortable working in any(all) of the major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus
